According to the National Observatory of Athens, the weather will change shortly before Holy Week.
Despite the fact that today the air temperature began to rise, forecasters at the National Observatory of Athens predict worsening weather. According to meteo.gr, the weather front will come to Greece with rain, African dust and strong winds. This is the picture for the next three days: from Friday 23 April to Sunday 25/04.
On Friday 23/04 cloudy, mainly in the west, in the center and in the north of the country. On Saturday 24/04 rainy weather in most of Greece.
However, gradually, starting from the west, the phenomena will subside, and on Sunday 25/04 they will be localized in the eastern and southern parts of the country. On Friday 23/04 gale winds, and from Saturday 24/04 and Sunday 25/04 north wind (especially in the Aegean region).
According to the DUSTMeteo forecast system of the National Observatory of Athens / Meteo.gr, the concentration of African dust in the air will prevail in the central and southern parts of the country for 2 days: Friday 23/04 and Saturday 24/04.
