BILD found a refugee family on which the authorities spend almost 18 thousand euros monthly

The Federal Labor Agency, which is responsible for the distribution of benefits, confirmed to BILD that in Germany there are 417 families who receive more than 10 thousand euros per month from the state, 44 families – more than 15 thousand and another five families who in total receive more than 20 thousand euros monthly.

About half of all reported cases of large budget spending were recorded in Berlin. BILD found that the federal labor agency sometimes pays exorbitant rents for housing welfare recipients. For example, the cost of housing for one person in Berlin can exceed three thousand euros per month. For large families, expenses accordingly increase several times.

One such example is a family of 12 Roma refugees from Bulgaria. The Berlin employment center allocates almost 18 thousand euros every month for them. Neither the federal police nor the employment center comment on this matter.

“This case mercilessly demonstrates the shortcomings of the system and is most likely just the tip of the iceberg,” Michael Jäger, president of the European Taxpayers Association, told BILD.

According to CDU General Secretary Carsten Linnemann, this example once again proves that the entire social benefits system is not working correctly.

“It must be cancelled. Anyone who receives social benefits and is able to work should no longer receive any government money.” – he said.

PS I wonder why this family of gypsies was so discriminated against in one of the EU countries that they received refugee status in Germany?
