A man who was hit by a tram in Glyfada this morning has been hospitalized as a result of a traffic accident.
The accident occurred at around 10am at the intersection of Diadochos Pavlos Street and Vergoti Square in the capital's Glyfada district. The pedestrian was seriously injured when the tram ran over him, reports CNN Greece, however, he is conscious and there is no threat to his life. But doctors assess his condition as serious.
Police are working at the scene.
