To rescue an injured foreign tourist, Greek authorities had to deploy an Air Force Super Puma helicopter.
The video of the American woman's transfer was published on the official BBC account in “X”. “On Monday, August 26, 2024, an Air Force super puma picked up a 63-year-old injured American tourist from the mountain shelter “Zolota” (Ζολώτα), located on Mount Olympus, and delivered her to Litochoro.”
It is not reported how or what injuries the “wildlife lover” sustained.
