Details of the attack on the house in Corinthia where they lived "Russian Germans"

Two more burglars who broke into a tourist's home in Corinthia by smashing windows while the family was inside have been arrested. They are a 44-year-old man and a 19-year-old boy, residents of a nearby camp.

Earlier, on Thursday 22/08, a 17-year-old boy (pictured in the window) was arrested, and a fourth, his 15-year-old accomplice, was released on bail. They took 1500 euros and demanded that I give it back to them. jewelry, believing that “rich foreigners” have much more money.

We remind you that early in the morning of August 19an hour and a half before dawn, group of gypsies broke into a house rented by a family of “Russian” Germans. The robbers, having broken the windows with various objects, began to threaten the residents of the house, demanding money from them, and then jewelry.

Police say at least four people approached the home shortly after 4 a.m. Monday. The thieves used items found in the shed to rip out blinds and smash windows, then threw farming tools, sticks and anything else they could find inside the home at the occupants.

The 46-year-old man, the head of the family of “Russian Germans”, tried his best to stop them, threatening the attackers with a crowbar, while one of his underage sons filmed the incident on his mobile phone. The head of the family shouted at them that he would call the police, but the robbers were not deterred. They ignored his threats, responding with obscene gestures.

Perhaps they did not understand what the man was telling them, or they knew that the police would not arrive soon, since the house was located on the outskirts.

To make the robbers leave the house, the residents gave them 1,500 euros (according to other sources, 2,500 euros), but the brazen criminals also demanded gold jewelry. “We took the 1,500 euros. They also demanded gold jewelry, we thought they had more money. Needless to say, they were very scared,” said one of the attackers.

The young men did not want to leave empty-handed, they were clearly counting on a richer loot. The robbers furiously broke windows, threw glass at the residents (the video shows blood on the doors, apparently a piece of glass hit one of the residents of the house). The family called and asked a friend who was in Athens to inform the police. But the house is secluded, and it will take time to find it.

“At the moment when the robbers were knocking on the windows, my friend from there called me and told me that such and such was happening. I called the police from my home and also spoke to the police on the phone,” a friend of Russian Germans living in Athens told the media.

At the sound of police cars, the robbers disappeared, after smashing and looting cars in the yard.

The police did not search for the criminals for long. Literally on the same day, the robbers, who lived nearby, were detained.

The family reportedly rented a summer home in Corinthia for several years. Now, apparently, they will not go to this area (or perhaps to Greece) anymore.
