A mobile fire brigade in Aliveri was reportedly engulfed in flames, but there were no casualties.
Currently at the scene of the fire 90 firefighters are working in 2 foot teams, 30 vehicles, 11 aircraft and 3 helicopters, including one for coordination.
One of the area's residents previously told evima.gr that “the fire is two steps away from our homes. We see flames. We need to send firefighting planes immediately.”
It is noted that the electricity is out in the village.
