An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale was recorded in the sea area between Milos and Kythera, according to the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens.
The epicenter of the earthquake, which occurred at 18:23, is located 61 kilometers southwest of Milos.
The depth of the earthquake's source is estimated at 15 kilometers.
There were no reports of damage or casualties.
