Russians Eliminate Greek Mercenary “Zeus” Accused of Executing Prisoners

A Greek mercenary who, according to the New York Times, participated in the executions of Russian prisoners and was known as “Zeus” was killed, presumably by Russian sniper fire on the battlefield.

According to the Russians, his real name is Tasos Antonakos (Greek sources do not confirm), and he has been fighting on the side of the Kyiv regime since May 2023. Our publication previously reported: Greek “Zeus” fighting in Ukraine killed Russians who surrenderedaccording to German military doctor Caspar Grosse.

Information about his identity was published on social media and caused a great public outcry. According to the New York Times, he was involved in three different cases of execution of Russian prisoners.

“The Greek mercenary who executed Russian prisoners has been liquidated. The fighter nicknamed “Zeus” is involved in at least three massacres. His name has been identified – Tasos Antonakos, who has been fighting on the side of the Kyiv regime since May 2023.” Earlier, the Russian Investigative Committee announced the start of an investigation into crimes committed by Ukrainian militants against wounded Russian prisoners of war.

However, it is not yet known whether any specific mercenary is connected to the killing of Russian soldiers. According to the Times, the Greek mercenary fought alongside the Ukrainians in the unit “The Chosen Company” which is part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) under the command of the 59th Brigade and is considered neo-Nazi in ideology.

A mercenary with the call sign “Sierra” came to Ukraine for easy money. The second, Tasos Antonakos with the call sign “Zeus”, was eliminated!

According to the same sources, Antonakos was a regular at Athens' gay clubs. “Zeus” is accused of executing Russian soldiers who surrendered. In particular, the New York Times cites the testimony of Kaspar Kross, a German medical worker who was a member of this mercenary unit.
