Greek police arrested four people on Wednesday evening (10/7) for the attempted murder of a 52-year-old relative.
The incident reportedly took place around 11:30 p.m. on Metropolitan Tyrolois Street, in the Panagia Faneromeni area. Four men, after a verbal altercation, beat up their 52-year-old relative and threw him 6.5 meters from the balcony of his apartment.
During the police investigation, at least one knife and a metal rod were found in the possession of the accused. The victim was taken to Ippokrateio Hospital, where he is still undergoing treatment.
The prosecutor brought charges against four people, aged 20, 34, 35 and 24, of attempted murder, causing dangerous bodily harm, carrying a weapon, possession of a weapon, causing damage to property and disturbing the peace.
The accused were sent to the investigating judge to give evidence.
