Thessaloniki: a two-meter snake was found in the shower of a house


In Thessaloniki, in Panorama, a two-meter snake that climbed into a house caused panic.

As stated in the ERT report, we are talking about a two-meter reptile that was discovered in the bathroom by a Rottweiler. The owners of the house called volunteers, who managed to safely remove the snake from the shower and take it out of the house.

Animal rescue and protection group volunteer Eleftheria Vekiloglou, along with Stelios Geronimakis, reported that over the past month they have captured at least 10 snakes from homes and returned them to their natural habitat.

Experts explained that the viper is dangerous and anyone who spots the snake should immediately report it to authorities rather than try to kill it themselves.
