The mAIgov digital assistant, an artificial intelligence-based application, one of the first to be rolled out on a pan-European scale, will soon be uploaded to the gov.gr platform.
By using digital assistant Citizens will be able to search for everything they want to know about government services or various required documents and receive instant answers in written or voice form.
They also receive answers to questions such as what to do if, for example, they learn that an animal is being abused. And in addition, the AI will provide a link to the relevant law.
The chatbot is initially available on a trial basis. After all, the more it is used, the more “educated” it will be and will be able to answer citizens’ questions.
mAigov is being introduced to the media by Digital Governance Minister Dimitris Papastergiou and others involved in its creation, after Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis was previously informed about it.
Not yet decided how long will he remain on the probationary period?since, among other things, there is a need to update existing computing power, and it also depends on the approval he will receive from citizens.
