Channel "Mega" showed a video of an accident where a 37-year-old mother of 2 children was fatally injured

Documentary video footage has emerged of a fatal traffic accident that occurred on Friday afternoon on the Nafplio-Nea Kios coastal road in Argolis, killing a 37-year-old woman and leaving two children orphaned.

The accident, recorded on a surveillance camera, showed that the car in which the two gypsies were traveling reached a speed of 170 kilometers per hour. Such excessive speed turned a collision with two other passing cars and the death of a woman into a predetermined tragedy.

The car that caused the accident pulls into the oncoming lane to overtake and, as the video shows, the driver decides to brake, but fails to maintain control. The car continues moving and crashes into the unfortunate woman's car. Her death occurs instantly.

Close relatives of the deceased called the incident a crime

In a conversation with Mega Live News, close relatives of the accident victim called everything that happened a crime. “At a speed of 180 km per hour, he crashes into Nadya’s car sideways, literally crushes it, and then crashes into the second jeep.”they said.

The unfortunate woman was driving in her traffic at a normal speed. Behind her was a car, the driver of which was injured. He spoke about the accident and the nightmare minutes that followed:

“We were going to Nafplio. I was in the back, she was in front. We were driving at a speed of 60 km, in our own lane. ABOUTI was traveling from Nafplio at high speed, 160-170 km/h, something like that. He lost control of the car and the left rear part crashed first into my front and then into my side.”

Neither he nor the unfortunate woman had time to react. The car that drove into the oncoming lane was essentially flying, and it was impossible to brake to prevent an accident. “I don't remember if I hit the brakes. He was driving at a speed of 170-160 and lost control. He clearly lost control of the car. He didn’t race, he was alone,” the driver said.

Video analysis by experts

With the help of experts, an attempt is made to approximately determine the speed of the cars. The car in front is traveling at 60 km per hour, and the one behind and behind causes an accident at a speed almost three times faster. As video analysis shows, the car with two gypsies was traveling at a speed of 170 km/h at that moment. Just a few meters earlier, he was pinned against the unfortunate woman's car.
