Hellenic Train: Cancellations and changes to routes due to strike

Hellenic Train has announced changes and cancellations to its services due to strikewhich will take place tomorrow (24/09).

In order to inform its passengers, Hellenic Train announced that due to the strike announced by the Panhellenic Union of Railway Workers for Tuesday from 18:00 to 00:00, Schedules will be cancelled and changed across the entire network, including suburban ones.

However, in order to best serve passengers, Hellenic Train, with the assistance of its employees' unions, will operate services with security escorts during service breaks.

Let us recall that On Thursday (26.09.24) there will be a 24-hour nationwide strike of railway workers (trade unions SEP TRAINOSE and PEP TRAINOSE), requiring, among other things, the immediate recruitment of personnel, the replacement of rolling stock with modern trains comparable to European railways, and the completion of infrastructure and transport safety projects in the railway network.
