Taxi drivers in Athens will begin a 24-hour strike on Monday, September 9, 2024, the SATA union announced on Friday.
The strike will begin at 5 a.m. Monday and end at 5 a.m. Tuesday.
The SATA union said that with the strike it would demonstrate, among other things, its opposition to new tax and insurance laws, as well as the mandatory transition to electric vehicles from 2026.
