Killer pilot enters university

Student life begins for Babis Anagnostopoulos, who is admitted to the Panhellenic Law School of Komotini.

As reported by the ANT1 channel, he registered online. Classes will begin on September 30. As already mentioned, he is admitted to study 8 topics, including a course on civil and family law.

It was revealed that the prisoner would be attending classes remotely, via video recording of lectures, as there was an uproar among the students when they learned that the killer pilot would be watching the classes directly from prison (being virtually in the classroom).

Let us remind you, Babis Anagnostopoulos, a Greek pilot, was convicted of murdering his wife Caroline Crouch in May 2021. He staged the crime as a burglary but later confessed to the murder after police found inconsistencies in his testimony using data from a smartwatch and other devices.

In May 2022, Anagnostopoulos sentenced to life imprisonment plus 11.5 years and a fine of 21,000 euros. He recently dropped his appeal for a reduced sentence, opting to stick with the original one.
