An incredible incident occurred on a KTEL bus traveling from Drama to Thessaloniki. As reported by the MEGA channel, bus passenger Nikos Nikolaidis traveled on the KTEL intercity bus from Drama to Thessaloniki in… the luggage compartment.
«The bus departed from the intercity station of Drama. It was “to the brim” when the driver stopped at my village. I saw that there was a lot of luggage and, in an attempt to get my things (guitar), I climbed into the luggage compartment. And suddenly the door slammed! I did not have time to get out and thus went to Thessaloniki“,” the passenger told the media.
Nikos' final destination was two stops before the terminal.When the passenger went down to get his things from the trunk, the driver did not notice that the person was inside the trunk and closed the door.
«I go down and tell him: open up, let me get my stuff. When I got inside to get my guitar, the driver pressed the button and closed the door. I was inside until he got to the terminal, which took five minutes.“, – noted the passenger riding in the trunk of the KTEL.
KTEL Drama President noted on Live News that he was informed 15 days after the incident and did not initiate a disciplinary investigation because he did not receive a report from the passenger, however The driver confirmed the incident.
