Passenger train 1531 crashed into fallen trees on the tracks between Spendalis and Afidna stations.
Due to this, traffic has been stopped, significant delays and possible cancellation of flights are expected.
The incident involved a train travelling from Chalkida to Athens, causing material damage and stopping the train. According to Hellenic Train, no passengers or crew were injured. Thirty-five passengers on train No. 1531, reports newsbeast.gr edition, transported by train no. 1532 to Afidna station.
