The relatives of a 78-year-old man who went missing in Turkey nine days ago breathed a sigh of relief.
Dimitris Papadimitriou from Servia (Kozani) was spotted in a cafe near the center of Taksim Square today, Friday, and is in good health, reports CNN Greece.
As we wrote previouslythe retired construction worker from Servia was lost during a trip to Istanbul. The Turkish authorities were put on alert. Due to high roaming rates in Turkey, his mobile phone was switched off, making the search even more difficult.
The news that the elderly man had been found was confirmed by his daughter, who was relieved after what the entire family had been through for so many days.
