Every concert of the “Lords of the Sound” orchestra, which includes 80 musicians and performers, is unforgettable in the minds and hearts of thousands of Hans Zimmer fans around the world. Many people know him well “in absentia”, because he wrote music for famous films and computer games (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Crysis 2).
Hans Zimmer is widely known for his works, which are successfully used by directors in action films and thrillers. Two-time Oscar winner (for which he was nominated 12 times), three-time Golden Globe winner, four-time Grammy winner.
He is best known for his music for such films and cartoons as Rain Man, The Lion King, The Prince of Egypt, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, The Rock, As Good as It Gets, Black Hawk Down, Gladiator, Angels & Demons, Pearl Harbor, Inception, Interstellar and Chappie, Dune, and the Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight, and Sherlock Holmes film series.
His works are distinguished integrating the sound of electronic music with traditional orchestral arrangementsSince the 1980s, Zimmer has written music for more than 150 films.
