Four people have been arrested in Rethymno for the brutal beating of a 36-year-old tourist in Rethymno, Crete.
The incident occurred early in the morning on Sunday, September 1. The victim of the beating was hospitalized in serious condition. The cause of the conflict is still unknown, but the participants in the bloody incident, aged 22, 24 and 20 (two) years old, have been detained. They struck the victim in the face and head, doctors assess his condition as particularly serious. How writes CNN Greece, during an argument with a tourist, at some point the situation got out of control and the blows were inflicted with particular brutality by a group of young people.
Officers from the Rethymno Police Operations Unit and the Crime Prevention Unit of the Rethymno Security Sub-Directorate, who were patrolling the area, quickly arrived at the scene of the incident, handcuffing the four criminals.
