Burglars in a car tried to escape from the police, but crashed into the wall of a house

A pursuit of robbers in Santorini ended unexpectedly: they crashed their car into the wall of a house while trying to avoid a police check.

According to cyclades24, everything happened during the night hours of August 28-29, when a patrol OPKE attempted to stop a car with three passengers. The pursuit ended at the wall of a house, into which the car crashed. Two of the criminals were detained by police officers, and the third is wanted because he managed to escape.

During the investigation it was found that the criminals stole the car they were driving and used it twice. During the attempted theft and in the robbery of the house, from which valuables, money and various items were stolen. The following items were found in the vehicle and confiscated:

• Pneumatic pistol with bullets
• Lots of jewelry
• Tools for opening locks, master keys
• Documents containing data of other persons.

A criminal case has been opened against those arrested.
