Sanctions for 10 years – Zelensky signed a decree


Sanctions against Pushilin, Shariy, Guzhva and a number of other individuals and legal entities have been extended for ten years.

By his decree, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of August 21. Sanctions against blogger Anatoly Shariy, suspected of treason, his wife Olga Shariy (Bondarenko), editor-in-chief of the publication “Strana” Igor Guzhva, head of the DPR Denis Pushilin and a number of other persons are extended for 10 years.

The sanctions include the cancellation or suspension of licenses and other permits, the presence of which is a condition for carrying out a certain type of activity, a ban on the transfer of technologies, rights to intellectual property, as well as blocking access to web resources and social media pages associated with the persons included in the list.

The sanctions have been extended for Shariy.Net LLC, the Foundation for the Study of Historical Perspective, Business News Media Joint Stock Company, Lasmak LLC, Majeri LLC, Smart Mediaset LLC, Versiya LLC, ANNA-News LLC, ERA-Media LLC, SKEPTIK and other legal entities. Their assets, domains and subdomains, websites have been blocked and they are prohibited from using the Ukrainian radio spectrum. The sanctions were entered in August 2021.
