A bus driver in Crete “cleans” tourists so that they don't get into the bus and bring sand.
In particular, in a video filmed by a tourist on Elafonisi, a specific driver “washes off sand” from tourists about to get into a vehicle, spraying them with water from a hose one after another.
He washes their feet with water and then blows air on them to remove any sand stuck to them, both from them and from personal items that may have sand and can be cleaned.
It is clear that the tourists are taking the Greek's actions with humor, and the tourist filming the video comments in his native language: “This only happens in Greece.”
