ΔΕΗ: green tariff 16.39 euros, discount in August 53%


In an attempt to curb rising electricity prices, ΔΕΗ announces a 53% discount in August on the green tariff.

The decision by ΔΕΗ followed the increase in wholesale prices recorded in July, which triggered a government announcement of subsidies.

The company announces, writes CNN Greece what The green tariff price for households for August (excluding any government subsidies) is 0.16391 euros/kWh. A 45% discount on green tariffs has been announced for businesses – the price per kilowatt-hour is 0.18331.

The relevant advert states that “its yellow tariffs are extremely competitive compared to the August prices of 0.155 for the myHome4All residential yellow tariff and 0.174 for the myBusiness4All professional yellow tariff.

The widely accepted ΔΕΗ blue tariffs have a guaranteed fixed price of 0.145 per 12 months for home blue myHomeEnter (0.142 for myHomeOnline) and 0.145 per 12 months for business blue myBusinessEnter.

It is worth noting that since the beginning of the year, ΔΕΗ has been supporting Greek households and businesses with total discounts amounting to more than 450 million euros.
