Prices for sunbeds on the beaches of Attica have skyrocketed and you have to fork out a pretty penny.
The equipped beaches of Attica are filled with people every day, and many sun loungers and umbrellas are even booked several days in advance. Those who have not yet asked for time off from work and have not gone on vacation prefer to spend the day on the nearby beaches of Attica. From early morning, the sun loungers are “snatched up”. Despite the fact that swimming in the sea is not cheap, especially on weekends, the occupancy rate of the beaches of Attica reaches 100% almost every day. On weekends the entrance fee is 10 euros per person, and the cost of a sun lounger is 22 euros.
In Voula, on weekdays, the entrance fee is 7 euros per person, and the price of a sun lounger varies from 20 to 40 euros. On weekends, the entrance fee increases to 8.5 euros, and the price of a set ranges from 30 to 50 euros.
And although some are still postponing their vacations and the temperature is rising again, swimming at the beach seems to be the only solution to “not missing out on summer.”
