Blogger Tatyana Ozolina, known on social media as “Russia's most beautiful biker,” died in Turkey in a terrible accident. Her motorcycle crashed into a truck.
Ozolina ran social media under the nickname MotoTanya: she had five million subscribers on TikTok, two million on YouTube, and just under a million on Instagram.
According to Turkish media, Ozolina was riding a motorcycle between the Turkish cities of Bodrum and Mugla. According to eyewitnesses, Ozolina lost control of her red BMW motorcycle, crashed into a truck and died at the scene of the accident before emergency services arrived. Riding with Ozolina was Turkish biker Onur Obut, who was seriously injured and is currently being treated in hospital. The third participant in the trip was reportedly unharmed.
The Baza publication writes that at some point Tatyana, seeing a car ahead, began to slow down, and the Turkish biker who was riding behind did not notice this and “slightly butted” Ozolina's motorcycle. It was after this, according to journalists, that she crashed into a truck. The speed at which the motorcyclists were moving has not yet been established.
Ozolina was recently denied entry into the European Union, where she was planning to go on a summer tour. She was stopped at the border with Greece.
“I'm sad that I can't skate in Europe, but not too much, because I knew this could happen. So I'm off to conquer beautiful, warm and hospitable Turkey,” she said in her last post on her social media.
