New York Post: Democratic Party leadership orchestrated a conspiracy against Joe Biden that resulted in his withdrawal from the election.
The publication writes about a conspiracy against the president within the Democratic camp. According to journalists, opponents from the party's top leadership demanded that Biden withdraw from the race and even threatened him that they would force him to withdraw from the election if he did not do so voluntarily.
The newspaper cites sources within the party and describes a “well-orchestrated palace coup” that Biden’s opponents have been playing out over the past few weeks. According to the New York Post, the incumbent president tried to resist until the very end.
Part of the “sophisticated” strategy to eliminate Biden from the White House race was to allow him to participate in a televised debate against Donald Trump. Biden’s condition became apparent live on air in front of millions of people. “The debate was a trap to convince Democrats that he could not run for president,” the newspaper quotes a source close to Biden as saying.
Hunter Biden stood up for the president, saying he was “very concerned that my father was being set up.” Even after the failed debates, Joe Biden was determined to continue his campaign. After that, the party elite began threatening to invoke the 25th Amendment to the US Constitution, which allows the vice president and cabinet members to declare the president “unfit to serve” and thus force him to leave the Oval Office.
