Chest of jewelry worth 100 thousand euros stolen from old woman

The employees of the property crimes department of the Northern Capital Police Department investigated a robbery that took place in February 2023, identified the perpetrators and drew up a corresponding criminal case.

According to ELAS, these are two Georgians aged 33 and 35 who, as it turned out during the investigation, after illegally entering the apartment, which at that time belonged to a 94-year-old woman, took away a chest of jewelry worth 100 thousand euros, as the victim later stated to the police.

As they were leaving, the elderly woman noticed them. But they violently pushed her away in order to keep the stolen goods and escape from the scene unhindered.

It is noted that the said persons and previously convicted of similar crimes.
