Shooting in Victorias Square: Father-in-law hits son-in-law on head with gun butt


On the morning of Sunday, July 14, shots were fired in Victoria Square, resulting in the mobilization of police.

At 8:55 a.m. the alarm was raised at the Emergency Action Center. Reports were received that two men had attacked a 24-year-old man and hit him on the head with a gun butt. The incident occurred at the intersection of Victoria Square and 3 September Street. “Having done their job,” the two men jumped into a car and fled, shooting into the air. According to preliminary information, this is an intra-family incident. The perpetrators and the victim are gypsies, one of the perpetrators is the victim's father-in-law. The information indicates a family incident.

The man was outside a bakery in Victoria Square when his father-in-law arrived with a friend. They had an argument, which led to tension. The guy was taken to hospital for first aid.
