An “uninvited guest” caused concern to the residents of an apartment building in the Upper Town of Thessaloniki. When they decided to see who was “stomping” there, they came face to face with a reptile that had appeared in the yard.
The bearded dragon, as its species is called, apparently escaped from the terrarium of an exotic animal lover and ended up in the courtyard of an apartment building, frightening the residents who encountered this animal species for the first time. An animal rescue and protection group was immediately called to the scene to pick up and remove the “little dragon”.
As it became known later from a message on social networks, the lizard belonged to a woman and was a pet. The upset lady was looking for her favorite… The reptile was reportedly returned to its owner and was told to keep a closer eye on the “little dragon”.
