After a short one-day respite, a drop in air temperature, storms and rain that swept across Greece, the weather picture will again become the same – hot. From Saturday, July 6, wind – meltemi and an increase in air temperature are expected.
Today at midday in the eastern part of Sterea there may be a short-term shower. The temperature will rise slightly, in Athens to +33-34°C, in the western regions to +36°C. The wind force in the northern region of the Aegean Sea will be 6, and in the afternoon – 7 points on the Beaufort scale.
In the next few days, practically throughout the new week, the weather will be windy, but hot. From Monday, July 8, the air temperature will reach and briefly exceed +40°C in certain geographical areas of the country. In Attica next week, the air temperature will remain stable at +37°C, and in Thessaloniki +35-36°C.
