Rain with hail in Drosia and Dionysos. Fires in Attica from lightning

On Thursdays (4/7) during the day bad weather brought hail to the capital's suburbs of Drosia and Dionysos, and earlier, due to numerous lightning strikes, fires broke out in the northern suburbs – in Anixi, Marathon and Chalandri.

Hail fell in Agios Stefanos, while Varibombi, Ekali and Tatoi experienced heavy but fortunately short-lived rainfall on Thursday around 1pm. Thunderstorms also occurred in Spata, Pallini, Ippokratio and Rafina.
