The National Transparency Authority, within the scope of its audit mandate and in order to ensure the implementation of the anti-smoking legislation regarding the total ban in public and all workplaces, commissions and activates the website 1142.aead.gr.
There is also a telephone line 1142, where citizens can file complaints about violations of anti-smoking legislation. The telephone line will be open from 08:00 to 15:00 from Monday to Friday, and the website 1142.aad.gr will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The National Transparency Authority cooperates with the Greek Police, the Municipal Police, the Port Authorities and the Health Services of the local public organizations of Class A and B, and carries out inspections during which it makes recommendations or imposes any disciplinary sanctions.
