Mobilization in Ukraine continues and military registration rules must be respected. Women's mobilization from July 1 remains voluntarynone of them can be called up without her consent, but some of them must register.
Women liable for military service – what the law says
The rules for conscripting women in July will remain the same: doctors are required to register, and other women only if they wish. Holders of the following specialties are considered liable for military service:
- physical therapy;
- medical and psychological rehabilitation;
- public health;
- physical rehabilitation;
- industrial pharmaceuticals;
- pharmaceuticals;
- sanitation and examination;
- dentistry;
- nursing;
- technologies of medical diagnostics and treatment;
- biomedical engineering;
- biotechnology and bioengineering;
- occupational pathology;
- toxicology;
- pharmacology;
- Physiology and epidemiology.
Women subject to military service receive registration certificate, without which they will not be able to find a job.
Military registration of women from July 1
Women with the above professions are required to register for military service and update their military registration data by July 16. If they fail to do so, they, like men, face a fine for failure to appear at the TCC in the amount of 17,000 to 25,500 hryvnia. Their employers are also obliged to monitor the registration of female employees.
Women excluded from military registration do not need to update their data in the TCC. A woman is registered when she receives a medical specialty at an educational institution or when she is employed. To register, medical professionals must undergo VIC.
Which women should not go abroad?
Female doctors are allowed to travel abroad, even if they are registered with the military. Only Ukrainian women who serve under contract and female civil servants are not allowed to leave the country.
