The 76-year-old former model, nutritionist and writer came to the capital of Greece to present her new book “Life Lessons” (“Μαθήματα ζωής”), published in Greek.
The presentation took place in a famous restaurant on the Athenian Riviera, in the presence of a large number of public figures, including female politicians such as Angela Gerekou, Noni Dounia, Sofia Zacharaki, Sofia Voultepsi, Athina Linou and Kristina Kontova. The presentation was coordinated by journalist Elli Spyropoulou.
Mae Musk, dressed in an elegant green dress, signed books and posed with famous Greek women. She wrote on her personal Instagram account: “I’m very excited to launch my book. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful organization of the event.”
On the same day, May Musk visited the Acropolis Museum, accompanied by the President of the EOT, Angela Gerekou, as well as the Director of the Museum, Mr. Stampolidis. Ms. Musk was reportedly quite impressed with the museum's exhibits. At the end of the excursion, she received a present from Mrs. Gereku – a miniature depicting the Acropolis.
“We were pleased to welcome Elon Musk’s mother, who visited Greece for the second time. At the presentation of her book, Mrs. May Musk spoke about the ups and downs of her own life. (…) We discussed many topics, including the issue of the return of the Parthenon sculptures, which concerns all Greeks and Philhellenes,” Ms. Gerekou wrote in her post.
