According to meteorologist Panagiotis Yiannopoulos, storms will mainly affect northern Greece today and tomorrow.
According to the ERT channel forecaster, on Most of the country will have clear weather todayHowever, storms will move through western and central Macedonia this afternoon and will be locally severe. Winds of force 6-7 on the Beaufort scale are expected mainly in the southeast Aegean Sea. In the west and north of the country it is expected slight drop in temperature. According to forecast Friday and Saturday will be even cooler days.
Weather in Attica and Thessaloniki
In Attica today the temperature is expected to reach +36°C, sunny. North wind force 5-6 on the Beaufort scale. In Thessaloniki, clouds will appear in the afternoon, it will become cloudy, and thunderstorms are expected. The air temperature will be about +33°C, the wind will be force 4 on the Beaufort scale.
Storms and strong winds will cool down the country
According to Panagiotis Yiannopoulos, on Friday 28/06 rain is expected in Macedonia and Thessaly. The north wind will increase in the Aegean Sea in the afternoon to 7 points on the Beaufort scale, as a result of which the air temperature will drop.
It will be even cooler on Saturday. Winds of force 6-7 on the Beaufort scale are expected, in some places up to 8. Temperatures in Athens will reach +34°C, and then drop even lower. Sunday and Monday early next week will be sunny with a slight increase in temperatures expected, mainly in western Greece.
