The car drove onto the beach and crashed into vacationers

An incredible scene took place on Wednesday (June 26) at Ag Beach. Yannis in Kaspak on Limnos, when an out of control car literally crashed into swimmers.

According to the website limnosfm100.gr, the car began to roll shortly after the driver got out of it, probably forgetting to fix it with the handbrake and gear. The reasons why a car begins to move spontaneously are usually related to its technical condition, but often the human factor also makes its contribution.

The most banal thing is that a car parked on a mountain simply rolls away under the influence of gravity. The reason may be the driver himself, who simply forgot to put the car in gear or the parking brake. It also happens that, due to a faulty handbrake, the car is held in place on relatively horizontal surfaces, but on a slope it can begin to roll spontaneously.

Thus, the vehicle, which began to move, advanced so far that it reached the beach and, in fact, according to those at the scene, crashed into a young woman who was sunbathing, fortunately without causing her any serious injuries.

An EKAB ambulance arrived at the scene and took the young bather to hospital as a precaution, as did the police to record the incident.
