An unprecedented incident was recorded on Tuesday afternoon, June 25, at the central station of the Heraklion-Lassithi intercity bus (Heraklion), when a 47-year-old Albanian, for no reason, began to attack passers-by.
As Cretalive reports, the man, clearly under the influence of drugs, first screamed and kicked various objects, and then, without hesitation, struck nearby people, tourists.
The police were immediately called to the scene. And when the officers arrived at the bus station ΕΛ.ΑΣan inadequate citizen hit one of the police officers before he had time to immobilize him and arrest him.
According to the same source, the policeman had to go to the hospital. Luckily his injuries were not considered serious. The man is expected to be prosecuted.
