DYPA: applications for 27 kindergartens open today


Today, Thursday (20/6), at 18:00, applications for registration and re-registration of infants and children in 27 kindergartens begin DYPA for the 2024-2025 academic year. Infants and toddlers are free of charge and applications must be submitted by 21 July.

How to apply

Applications are submitted exclusively online on the website gov.gr, HERE. ΔΥΠΑ private kindergartens are open from September 1 to July 31, from 6:45 to 16:00 (Monday-Friday), and are open to children from 6 months to 4 years. The daily program of creative activities is aimed at harmonious psychosomatic and educational development.

In Attica, pre-school children's institutions operate in the municipalities of Acharnon, Agia Varvara, Ano Liosia, Elefsina, Keratsini, Moschatos, Olympic Village, Peristeri and Haidario, and in the rest of Greece – in the cities of Agrinio, Agia Varvara, Ano Liosia, Elefsina, Keratsini, Moschatos , Olympic Village, Peristeri and Haidario, Arta, Drama, Igoumenitsa, Ioannina, Kavala, Kalamata, Karditsa, Karpennisi, Komotini, Larissa, Messolonghi, Naoussa, Xanthi, Patras, Pilaya, Serres and Trikala.

Who can apply

Beneficiaries are parents or guardians (adoptive parents, etc.) of beneficiary children who:

  • in 2023-2024 worked a total of 25 days under eEFKA insurance and/or special maternity benefit and/or regular unemployment benefit and/or long-term unemployment benefit,
  • have been registered as unemployed for at least 2 months as of the closing date for applications,
  • they are recipients of unemployment benefits for self-employed persons who are self-insured (ie OAEE, ie ETAP-MME, ie ETAA).

Selection criteria – economic and social

Upon completion of the application process, provisional lists of selected, alternative and excluded infants will be published and beneficiaries will be able to file objections.

ΔΥΠΑ participates in the campaign “Promotion and support of children for their integration into preschool education and access of school-age children, adolescents and persons with disabilities to creative employment services” with Ε.Ε.Τ.Α.Α. Α.Ε. as a beneficiary. AEE is co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) and national resources under the Corporate Regional Development Pact (ΕΣΠΑ) for the program period 2021-2027.

Parents who meet the requirements for inclusion in the above program are encouraged to apply. Those who receive a voucher can return it directly to the ΒΝΣ ΕΣΠΑ.
