ΑΑΔΕ: July 26th is the deadline for filing tax returns for legal entities

According to the decision of the head of the Greek Tax Administration, Georgios Pitsilis, the deadline for filing tax returns for legal entities has been postponed to 26 July. Thus, the deadline for filing returns will coincide with the deadline for filing tax returns for individuals.

There are now 44 days left to file your tax returns on time. This year it started on May 1, earlier than any other year, and so far only 54,344 returns have been filed.

It should be noted that last year, 308,752 corporate tax returns were filed on time. In this regard, the Independent State Revenue Administration calls on entrepreneurs to speed up the filing of declarations.

It should be noted that due to the postponement of the deadline for filing the income tax return for legal entities and non-profit organizations, individuals who are participants in legal entities and legal entities that maintain accounting records can submit their income tax return until August 16, 2024.

We remind you that payment of income tax:

  • legal entities and legal entities pay in eight (8) equal monthly installments, the first of which is paid by 7/31, and the subsequent ones by the last working day of each month,
  • for individuals participating in legal entities and legal entities having financial statements – in six (6) equal monthly payments, the first of which is paid by 30/9, and subsequent ones – by the last working day of each month.
