At least 9 UN staff captured by Yemen's Houthis


Yemen's Houthi rebels have captured at least nine United Nations staff, media reported.

According to the Associated Press, among the detainees are employees of the UN Human Rights Office, the World Food Program, and one employee of the office of the UN Special Envoy.

The Houthis, members of the armed rebel group Ansar Allah, now control most of Yemen, including the capital Sanaa and some northern and western parts of the country.
