The Armed Forces of Ukraine claim that a significant part of the videos about conflicts with territorial recruitment centers (military registration and enlistment offices) are fake.
They are distributed in poor quality, which is an imitation of “naturalness”. The Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that much of the content on social networks depicting conflicts between the TCC and citizens was created by hostile information operations units:
“It is important to understand that a significant part of the content on social networks, which depicts military personnel of the Armed Forces, allegedly serving in the TCC and conflicts with them, are products of hostile information operations units. We receive information about the organization of filming of such stories in temporarily occupied territory. The elements are typical: people in the Ukrainian uniform, together with people in the uniform of the National Police, enter into conflicts with the “local residents.”
The video simulates beatings, the footage contains minibuses and cars with black license plates, as well as cars with Ukrainian license plates of different regions of registration, neutral locations that are difficult to identify are used. The Ground Forces note the poor quality of such videos and the imitation of “naturalness.” The message says, quotes “Correspondent”:
“In addition to simulating conflicts, videos are being prepared linking TCC servicemen with the use of alcoholic beverages, drugs, in food establishments and accompanied by women. Recently, several similar videos have appeared on the Internet and have become widespread.”
The Army assures that all current situations are “carefully studied, the necessary internal checks are carried out, and the public is informed in the prescribed manner.”
