The prices of beach chairs make your hair stand on end.

After coming to terms with grocery prices in supermarkets for a while, it seems it's time to become outraged about the prices of beach holidays.

Now even swimming in the sea “will cost a pretty penny” for an ordinary citizen, since on the beaches of Attica the prices for sun loungers have “soared” significantly, as was established by reporters who visited organized recreation areas (02/06). In particular, according to the MEGA channel (MEGA Weekend program), the price of a sun lounger on the beaches of Attica on weekends increases even more than three times compared to weekdays.

However, unfortunately further upward price adjustment is expected. It is noted that the cost increases significantly if you decide to buy coffee, juice or toast there. In addition, this year there is a commitment to make at least 50% of the beach free (for free access). Prices for sun loungers in Attica:

1. Alimos (Άλιμος)

• Weekdays: sun lounger with umbrella – 17 euros.
  Entrance: 8 euros/person.
• Weekend: sun lounger with umbrella from 22 euros
  Entrance: 10 euros/person.

2. Anavyssos (Ανάβυσσος)

• Weekdays: sun lounger with umbrella from 6 euros
• Weekend: sun lounger with umbrella from 20 euros
  Free entry.

3. Porto Rafti (Πόρτο Ράφτη)

• Weekdays: sun lounger with umbrella from 10 euros.
  Entrance 5 euros/person.
• Weekend: sun lounger with umbrella from 15 euros
  Entrance: 7 euros/person.

4. Vouliagmeni (Βουλιαγμένη)

• Entrance: 10 euros/person.
• Reduced special ticket: 5 euros (unemployed, students, large families, over 65 years old).
