After a long illness, actress Anastasia Zavorotnyuk died tonight (video)

We thank each of you who sincerely wished well, prayed for health and believed. Nastya always felt and really appreciated your support. The actress was 53 years old; she spent the last five years of her life in an unequal struggle with the disease. She was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2019, but the prognosis was optimistic.

Anastasia Zavorotnyuk began acting in films in 1991, but her popularity came after appearing in the sitcom “My Fair Nanny.” Afterwards she starred in the leading role in the action film “Apocalypse Code”, and was also Olya Ryzhova in the comedy “Office Romance. Our time” – in the remake of “Office Romance” she played with Vladimir Zelensky, the current president of Ukraine.

She also hosted various television shows: “Good Songs”, “Kitchen for Dummies”, “Dancing with the Stars”, “Dancing on Ice”, was a co-host of “Ice Age”, and a jury member on the Ukrainian show “People’s Star”. She also had her own program – the humorous talk show “Nastya”. Together with her third husband, figure skater Pyotr Chernyshev, she was the host of the morning show “New Morning” on NTV.
