Calculation of benefits and Easter gift from April 19

Starting tomorrow, April 19, 2024, advance payment of benefits for various categories of the population begins.

Beneficiaries will be credited with the amounts due to them. The accrual of: regular unemployment benefit, long-term unemployment benefit, unemployment benefit for the self-employed, advance payment of the Easter gift for the subsidized unemployed, special maternity benefit, child care benefit will be made by the State Employment Service (ΔΥΠΑ) by direct deposit into the bank accounts of beneficiaries.

As stated in the related press release, Beneficiaries are not required to take any action to receive benefits. (they will be credited automatically). There is also no need to visit Employment Promotion Centers (KPA2) in person. The amounts will appear in bank accounts within three business days after their ΔΥΠΑ is credited.

It is noted that the calculation of benefits for the unemployed who have obligation to declare one's presence during the period from April 19, 2024 to May 10, 2024, will occur after they declare/confirm this. Let us remind you that presence is declared exclusively in electronic form By link.
