The region’s governor, Nikos Hardalias, is preparing a surprise for the people of Attica ahead of the national anniversary of March 25, Greek Independence Day.
The regional governor of Attica announces that on the eve of the holiday, on Sunday 24/3 at 21:00, he will light up the sky with a spectacular fireworks display, thereby honoring the memory of the Greeks who sacrificed themselves for their homeland.
Message from Nikos Hardalias: “On Sunday evening at 9:00 pm, those of you who find yourself in the center of Athens, look up to the skies. We pay tribute and honor in a spectacular way to the Greeks who fought with courage and dedication, leaving a mark on the story of heroism and self-sacrifice. Greece became a free state, spreading the idea of the struggle for national independence.”
