The unknown “Disease X”, as described by the World Health Organization, is one of the topics that will concern the World Economic Forum in Davos, which will take place from January 15 to 19, 2024.
The official website also has a corresponding section. Apparently some take it for granted that we will face the next pandemic, but, as they say, it can be 20 times more deadly than coronavirus.
“With new warnings from the World Health Organization that an unknown ‘Disease X’ could cause 20 times more deaths than the coronavirus pandemic, what new efforts are needed to prepare health systems for the many challenges ahead?” – says the announcement of the meeting. The discussion, which will take place on January 17, will be attended by WHO head Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the head of the Brazilian Ministry of Health and other health experts.
In 2020, WHO stated that the first “pathogen X” should rightfully be recognized as the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which caused the COVID-19 pandemic. In the same time there is a high probability that others will follow him. Among the factors contributing to this, scientists cite increased environmental change and the development of biological weapons.
Or maybe economists thought it was very profitable to let the “genie out of the bottle”, so to speak, “dispose of the weak”, and even profit from the development and sale of a new vaccine?!
