Changing the employee reservation system in Ukraine

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is preparing changes to the procedure for reserving workers from mobilization.

According to the European Business Association (EBA), citing Deputy Minister of Economy Igor Fomenko, so far the booking procedure is at the approval stage – issues of mobilization, leave for military personnel and others are discussed.

Developed and aimed at harmonization and e-booking procedure. Taking into account the fact that all procedures can conceptually change as soon as a new vision is adopted, all business offers will be adapted to e-booking. It is assumed that this will be a pilot project, presumably for a period of 2 years. Paper reservations will also remain. EBA’s message reads:

“In the context of the current reservation system, several aspects were noted. For example, it was said that up to 50% of those liable for military service can be booked: those who have inaccuracies in the data are booked for a month, that is, they require clarification, and for 6 months – who is doing well. If a person is not registered with the military, he cannot be booked.”

The company is provided with a reservation only for the time it is determined to be critical – currently this status is given for one year. When a facility continues to remain in critical status, overbooking occurs.

In case of delays in booking approvals, it is advisable to communicate with the Ministry of Economy and the General Staff, but the booking continues to be approved, explains publication “Economic Truth”, referring to EBA:

“Regarding the verification of information about those liable for military service in Diya, Mr. Fomenko explained that there is such a system as Oberig, through which information is transferred from paper to electronic version. Now the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Digital Development have thrown all their efforts into entering information into Oberig.

Mobilization of additional 500 thousand Ukrainianswhich President Vladimir Zelensky spoke about, will take place, but not in the near future, said Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Alexey Danilov. He recalled the rotation:

“For this, we should have additional military personnel, but this does not mean that this should happen in a month or two. This is the military’s vision for next year. What the final decision will be will become known after the approval of certain regulatory and strategic documents that “As of today, it is under development. Therefore, there is no need to shout now that tomorrow all 500 thousand will need to be called up.”

He also noted writes publication “Country” that every military man must be provided with appropriate protective equipment, clothing, food, and allowances:

“All this is provided with funds from our taxpayers, so we must understand that this is the responsibility of everyone and people of military age, who must not shy away from mobilization and run abroad. What is happening today in some cities, when nightclubs, casinos, bars … We are at war, and I want everyone to understand that this is a common cause, it is the job of everyone to participate in repelling the aggressor: those who can – directly at the front, and those who do business – paying taxes. It will be extremely difficult for us to maintain this situation, this aggression “.
