Do you have these 8 things at home? Find out why they should have been thrown away… just yesterday

Probably everyone is convinced that they should do everything possible to fill their home with positive energy.

So throw these 8 “dangerous” things out of your home that, according to Feng Shui, should not be in it at all. We warn you that you will read a lot of exaggerations and superstitions, which we, of course, do not believe. On the other hand, we’ll probably still get rid of the rocking chair we have in our living room.

So here is a list of 8 things that bring “clutter”/negative energy into our home.

  1. Empty rocking chairs. Bad news for moms. The Irish believe that an empty rocking chair invites dark forces to sit in it. Even worse: if it sways on its own, it means that some evil spirit is already sitting in it, which can bring death and failure to the family.
  2. Broken plates and glasses. As soon as a plate or glass breaks even a little, it is better to throw it away immediately. And here’s why: according to Feng Shui, dishes symbolize wealth and family. When you eat on broken or cracked plates, you attract problems and failures into your life.
  3. Withered plants. If you forgot to water your plants and their leaves start to turn brown, it’s time to say goodbye. It is considered bad luck to have “dead” plants (artificial flowers) in the house.
  4. Black door. You might think that a black door might look chic, but according to Chinese Feng Shui, a black door attracts bad luck to your home. Especially if your door faces north.
  5. Old diary. Or even a calendar showing the wrong day or month. Since this object exists to show the passage of time, it is believed that if you use it incorrectly, it can negatively affect your life.
  6. Mirrors. Broken mirrors are not the only thing that brings bad luck. Legend has it that the mirrors you reflect in can steal your soul. This is why the Victorians covered their mirrors when someone died, so that their soul would not be “trapped” inside the looking glass.
  7. Cacti. Plants with thorns (except roses) are extremely bad for feng shui and are said to bring negative energy and bad luck into the home.
  8. Broken watch. Of course, having broken things in the house is very bad in feng shui. But if your watch suddenly stops/breaks, it can bring death to your family. At least that’s what people thought in the 19th century.
