Meteorologist Sakis Arnautoglou warns of a serious deterioration in the weather in the coming days and predicts when it will improve.

According to the meteorologist, storms, rain, and hurricane winds are approaching. On Thursday, November 23, short showers are expected east of Pindos. The strength of the northeast wind will reach 5-6 points on the Beaufort scale in the northern part of the Aegean Sea. In the rest of the Aegean Sea, the wind is southeast, from 4 to 5 points, in the Ionian Sea – from 5 to 7 points on the Beaufort scale.

In Attica cloudy, localized showers, northeast wind 3 to 4 on the Beaufort scale. Air temperature from 13 to 21°C.

In Thessaloniki and Central Macedonia increased cloudiness and rain in the first half of the day. The strength of the northeast wind in the Chalkidiki region can reach 6–7 points on the Beaufort scale. The air will warm up to 12–16°C.

On Friday November 24th The weather will be unsettled, with rain and storms, in the west, east and Cyclades. In other regions there is a slight chance of light rain.

Saturday 25 November, especially in the afternoon, severe weather deterioration is expected with showers, rain and storms in most parts of the country. Particularly strong manifestations of bad weather will be in the east and north-west of Greece, accompanied by a very strong stormy south-westerly wind, the strength of which will reach 7-8 points on the Beaufort scale. Snowfall is expected in the Macedonian mountains from Saturday evening.

On Sunday 26 November the weather will improve, the phenomena will be local, mainly in the Peloponnese and the east of the country.

On Monday 27 November the situation will not change, but forecast models so far show that from Tuesday 28 November The weather change is coming again – strong manifestations of bad weather are expected across most of the country.

Meteo.gr National Observatory reports that today, Thursday 23 November, localized rain is expected in parts of Macedonia, Thrace, Thessaly, Eastern Sterea, Evia, Eastern Peloponnese, Aegean and Crete. There is a possibility of localized storms, mainly in the Aegean Sea.
